The Fuel Tanker is designed to be loaded from top and unload through pump or by gravity as per KNPC specifications. The tank is fabricated and mounted on the chassis supplied by the customer. The dimensions of the tank may vary depending
on the type of chassis. This specification is applicable for Tankers having up to 10,000 Litre capacity.



Elliptical shape, Welded construction to material specification ASTM A36 or Eq.



Shell, belly, baffles & dish – 4 mm.

Dish & Baffles are curved. Baffles are equally spaced, between 90 cm and 150 cm.



The hood guards the fittings, in the event of overturning and to drain spillage.



2.5” fill line with Camlock coupling and Dust-Cap provided on top of the tank.



2.5” discharge line with Camlock coupling & ball valve for gravity/ pump discharge.

Other Connections

  • 1 No. – 20” Manhole with vent and dipstick on top of the tank
  • 1 No. – 2” return line in front of the tank
  • 2 Nos. – ¾” drain line at rear side of the tank



Suitable PTO driven pump of size 1.5” or 2”. (Blackmer or equivalent make)



Tank is tested pneumatically at 5 psig



Side Indicators (4 Nos./ side), Beacon Lamps (2 Nos. at rear) and necessary wiring. All electrical wires behind cab shall be routed through conduit pipes.



External: One coat of primer followed by synthetic enamel painting system to white colour with warning in white.

Inside:Red band according to KNPC specification
